1. Who we are

Rent.Kochi (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website and the linked Instagram pages. We sell detailed rental-information results for Kochi and other Kerala cities. We are not a real-estate broker, listing agency, or property dealer.

2. What data we collect

When you place an order we ask for, and store:

• Your name, phone number, and email address
• Your preferred city and locality
• BHK requirement, budget range, parking need, move-in month
• Renter type (family, bachelor, student, expat)
• Razorpay order ID and payment ID after payment

We do not store your card details, UPI ID, bank details, or any payment credential. Those go straight to Razorpay, our PCI-DSS Level 1 payment processor.

3. Why we collect it

• To generate and deliver the detailed results you purchased
• To respond to your support questions over email or WhatsApp
• To improve the product (aggregate, non-identifying analytics only)

4. Who we share it with

• Razorpay — name, phone, email for payment processing
• Our database & file storage — encrypted Postgres + object storage
• Resend — email delivery; receives your name and email

We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or pass it to unrelated third parties.

5. How long we keep it

Buyer records are retained for up to 3 years after your last purchase, after which they are deleted or anonymised. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Payment information is handled by Razorpay; we never see it. The results / PDF download link sent to you expires after 24 hours.
